The Attorney General’s Ministry hosted a two-day training session for the Implementation Review Mechanism (IRM) of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). The training, organized to strengthen the National Systems for implementation of UNCAC, was led by Ms. Karen Bernard, Deputy Resident Representative, UNDP; Ms. Cristina Ritter, Legal Expert, UNODC; and Hon. Michael Peyrefitte, Attorney General and UNCAC Focal Point. The training commenced yesterday morning at the Inspiration Center in Belize City, and concludes today, May 4, 2017.
